Custom Home/Renovation Interior Design
We are your first point of contact, involved in every stage of the project, from concept drawings to move-in. With thoughtful planning, we can help you avoid costly change orders and overruns.
We start by learning what you envision as your dream home.
We will provide specifications for everything from the floor to the ceiling! This includes lighting plans, millwork, flooring, color schemes and furniture layouts for each space as well as specifications for furniture and other furnishings like window treatments, decorative lighting, and artwork. We source from all over the world so the furnishings we bring to your project will be perfectly matched to you.
We will be your advocate throughout the process, to ensure that the design vision is maintained so that at the end of the project, you walk into your dream home!
Professional Office Interior Design
We understand the unique needs and opportunities of a professional environment. We have helped attorneys, dentists, doctors and others define their offices in a way that best reflects their business model.
Functionality and aesthetics both play a role in creating the perfect backdrop for elevating your brand and your business. We will work with your preferred contractor or provide recommendations so the process runs smoothly, on time and within budget.
Kitchen/Bathroom Interior Design
Considered the most design-centric spaces in your home, a kitchen and bath present their own set of challenges. But they also offer the most opportunities for elevated design solutions. We have the skill set necessary to help you navigate the process from beginning to end, from the creative inspiration to the technical details. Our pool of craftsmen has passed our rigid standards for quality work so you can feel confident that the finished space will be exactly what you hoped for.
Senior Living Interior Design
Our entry into Senior Living design came from personal experience. Joan Waddell assisted her own mother with downsizing twice: into a patio home and then to Miralea, an independent senior community on the Masonic Home campus in Louisville, KY.
This hands-on experience led to a strong working relationship with Masonic Home, through which we were referred to other residents who needed design advice. We have gained a valuable knowledge base of the unique needs of seniors, with a clear understanding of their concerns and desires as they move into the next phase of their lives. With the success of Miralea, we are now working with new clients who live at The Meadow, the second independent living community on the Masonic Home campus.
What you can expect from our first meeting:
- Discuss your goals and review any images/ideas you may have collected.
- Discuss a budget for the project.
- Follow up with you on a proposed fee to complete the project, including an itemized list of all the services we will provide.
